Hip Hop 50 Park Jams took over SummerStage at Central Park on Juneteenth. The all star lineup featured DJ Premier, Grandmaster Flash, and surprise performances by Dave East, Rowdy Rebel, Souls of Mischief and more!

Vol. 2 is described as “an ode to New York rap” and follows DJ Premier’s Vol. 1 from July 2022, with both serving as a celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary this year. Listen to it here.
Tracing the cultural genre’s collective trajectory over five decades, the exhibition spans photography by hip-hop’s earliest documentarians of the 1970s to younger hip-hop photographers who are furthering the proliferation of the genre’s aesthetic.
The Bridge features candid discussions with an assortment of special guests, including artists and other industry figures who are integral to the half-century-long story.
